Two posts in one day!

Not really.  But we had a REALLY yummy dinner tonight and I wanted to share it.

Pepper Steak
2 ½ lbs chuck steak, cut into bite size pieces
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 – 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (I used fire roasted)
½  green pepper, diced
1 tsp beef bullion granules
Dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 c water
3 Tbsp flour

Preheat oven to 350*.  Line 13x9” pan with foil and add chuck steak.  Sprinkle steak with soup mix.  Drain diced tomatoes, reserving juices. Add tomatoes and peppers to steak.
In small pan, cook tomato juices with ½ c water, bullion, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat.
Mix ½ c cold water and flour.  Slowly add flour mixture to saucepan.  Stir until thickened.  Pour sauce over steak.
Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350* for 90 min.
We served over brown rice and decided next time we would add some diced celery and onions and serve with bread to sop up the rest of the sauce.  This made approximately 6 helpings.

Josh ate the rice, Jacob ate the veggies. Blake ended up eating the meat from both boys plate. But the boys are semi-vegetarians anyway so I didn't expect them to eat the meat.
