Well, do I need to update!

I didn't believe my father in law when he told me it had been a month since my last post. But . . . oops! I made it back from New Hampshire and a week later went back East (again) to see my hubby! He had Memorial Day weekend off and so I got to spend a week in Georgia and see him (almost) every day.

Jacob and Daddy having fun with the bathroom mirror.

We went shopping at the commissary and this is the first time that Jacob has ridden in a shopping cart like this. He was OK for a minute and then wanted OUT!!

On Tuesday, I took Jacob to the doctor for a well baby visit. At (almost) 7 months he's 29 inches long and weighs 23 lbs 7 oz. Is it bad when the doctor mentions "Jacob" and "Jenny Craig" in the same sentence? (LOL)
Today, Blake called me and told me that he is going to be an Engineer in the Army. He will be going to Missouri for training and I will probably go with him because the school won't start for months so that West Point and ROTC grads can go too. It will be exciting! Church history sites are somewhat close so we'll be able to go visit. Neither one of us have ever been before so it'll be an experience. We won't know for sure what's going on for another month or so until Blake gets official orders but we're thinking I might be able to move right after OCS in July. If that happens I'll be so excited! OK, maybe more like ecstatic! :o)

Jacob is cute. Can't wait to see him in July. You guys will love the church history sites. Nauvoo is so much fun and the Temple is amazing as well. Branson is a fun place to visit as well.

After your travels to South Carolina, New Hampshire, Leo Carrillo, and Atlanta I could say welcome home – but I guess wherever you and Blake are together IS home. Hopefully the 'together' thing will be on a regular basis soon. See you on the 17th.
